Dan
Haefner
Sales, restaurants, technology—and the systems that connect them.
I work in restaurant-equipment sales, build and operate useful technology, and document the projects, photographs, experiments, and rabbit holes in between.

01 // SELECT A ROUTE
One life. More than one lane.
I would rather show the connections than force everything into one impressive-sounding title.
About me
Sales, restaurants, computers, practical technology, and the interests that keep expanding the map.
[02]↗Current projects
Real work and active experiments—from restaurant equipment to autonomous robotics and local weather.
[03]↗Field log
Photos, build notes, useful discoveries, interesting days, and what I am learning while doing the work.
02 // TECHNICAL RANGE
Comfortable with people.
Comfortable under the hood.
I am equally comfortable talking with a restaurant operator, opening a terminal, troubleshooting a website, directing AI agents, or working through a new technical system.

The First GOAT Racers Are Headed Out
The first GOAT Racers—GR1 and GR2—are getting ready to go to their first customer, and I’m honestly pretty stoked.
Not every day is about sales
Some days at KESCO are about calls, quotes, and orders. Other days I get to step into the warehouse, pick up a tool, and assemble the products we sell.
First full day with the GOAT Racer platform
My first full day in the lab: getting my hands on the platform, asking a lot of questions, and finding out where my RC and drone background carries over.
