First full day with the GOAT Racer platform
My first full day in the lab: getting my hands on the platform, asking a lot of questions, and finding out where my RC and drone background carries over.

This was my first full day in the GOAT Racer lab. I finally got to stop looking at the platform from the outside and spend some real time around the hardware.
There is a lot going on in one of these cars—mechanical parts, wiring, sensors, computers, and all the software that ties it together. I am still learning that whole stack.
My RC and drone background helped. Controls, electronics, troubleshooting, and figuring out how physical parts affect each other all carry over, even if GOAT Racer is a much bigger system.
I had a great day, asked a lot of questions, and left understanding more than I did when I walked in. That is a solid first day.
